£300K Homes for ukraine&Afghans

I saw report on sky news that a council is proposing to buy these house 's fro around £300 thousands to house Ukraine's & Afgans in a place named BORDEN i believe it's around the KENT area , all i ask is what about our own people on council waiting list's ????? Do they deseve the chance to rent or buy ??? GB..

Same way with Peel Holdings, are they building houses, and then letting them out to the government at above market rental rates ?

It's part of the development agreenment thet a certain number of units go to a housing association for immigrants.
Look at how many Hong Kong tenants got houses at Silkash, Bolton Road, Westhoughton (another Peel sub-company), along with a fair-sized 'settlement grant' to make them feel at-home!

I obviously do know about what's happening in and around the WIGAN area , it just stinks , as i said the people i feel for is the people who have been on council waiting list's for years and i do know for a fact as some friends of mine have been nagging the wigan council for YEARS to date no vacancies ,no bloody wonder the places are being taken by all these bleedin immigrants , there needs a revolution !!!!!

Also building them for Afghans is even more puzzling as there is no war in Afghanistan?

I can categorically state what i wrote is true and to follow up on the report it was again stated that the ;;;
E.H.D.C. council have just spent some £3.7 Million pounds on the purchase of these new homes soly to house Afghans & Ukrainians ,it was reported on SKY NEWS and was in "THE TIMES PAPER "
